The Study House
Our
Story

Get to Know Us
The Study House was created with a simple idea in mind: tutoring should accessible and feasible for both students and tutors.
We saw first‑hand how difficult it can be to find high‑quality academic support. Existing platforms often felt impersonal, expensive, or more focused on scale than outcomes. At the same time, talented tutors were giving up a significant share of their earnings to platforms that offered little flexibility or transparency.
The Study House was built to change that.
We connect students with carefully selected tutors, typically high‑performing university students and recent graduates, people who were in your shoes not long ago. They understand the curriculum, the pressure of exams and how to explain complex ideas clearly. Our focus is on near‑peer learning, where teaching feels approachable and results‑driven rather than intimidating.
We’re starting in the UK, working closely with GCSE and A‑level students, and growing deliberately rather than rapidly. Our priority is quality, trust, and long‑term outcomes. No shortcuts.
The Study House isn’t just another tutoring platform. It’s a place built around learning done properly.
